What Inspires Me
Nana Tea
My name is James Annor Tetteh, but many people know me as Nana Tea. I come from Odumase Krobo in the Eastern Region of Ghana, and my life has always been rooted in compassion, service, and a deep commitment to my community.
I am professionally trained as a Water Quality Analyst and an alumnus of Accra Technical University. Beyond my work, I am a devoted Christian, a husband, and a proud father of three. My family is at the center of everything I do, and it shapes how I show up for others.
My journey into philanthropy is very personal. Growing up, I faced financial challenges, and I experienced firsthand the kindness and generosity of people who stepped in to support me. Those moments stayed with me. They shaped how I see the world and gave me a strong sense of responsibility to give back.
Even before social media, I was already helping people within my community in any way I could. But as my online presence grew, I realized I could do more. Today, I use my platform to connect people in need with those who are willing to help, especially in areas like healthcare, education, and supporting persons with disabilities.
For me, it’s about being a voice for those who may not be heard and creating real impact where it matters most. Every story shared, every life touched, and every act of kindness reminds me why I started.
I am driven by purpose and guided by faith, and I remain committed to making a difference, one life at a time.
My Mission
Sometimes one story can change someone’s life.
Nana Tea has helped shine light on people who needed support, from struggling street vendors to individuals pursuing new opportunities.
By sharing these stories, individuals, organizations, communities have come together to offer scholarships, business support, and assistance to those facing difficult circumstances.
The goal is simple:
to use storytelling as a bridge that connects compassion with action.
